James Lee Hill was born on March 16, 1951 In Brooklyn, New York. He entered into eternal rest at McLeod Health Clarendon on Saturday, October 21, 2017. He was born to the late Lee Andrew Brackett and Ruthie Brackett, and reared by the late James Hill and Margeret Plowden.

He was joined in matrimony to Brenda Adger-Hill on March 11, 2016.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving and devoted wife of the home Brenda Adger-Hill; six children Patricia Hill, Margaret Hill, Tracy Taylor, Kevin Parker (Lauryl), Renay (Eckwood)Ellison, and James (Quintana) Hill, Jr.; two daughters he raised as his own, Tarra Adger and Bre'Ana Adger; 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends .

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 from 3-7pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Hill will be placed in the church on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at 2pm for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 3pm at Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church, Manning, SC.

Interment will follow in Adger Memorial Gardens.

Family will be receiving friends at the home, 10015 Scott Ave., Manning, SC from 3pm-8pm
