James Dows, Jr., 63, son of Willie Mae Hunter Dow and the late James Dow, Sr., was born March 8, 1957 in Sumter, SC. He departed this life on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 9am on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150, with Rev. Timothy Hunter Officiating and Rev. Clarence Hunter, Eulogist.

Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
