James Dinkins, 87, husband of Emmly Lee Goodwin Dinkins and son of the late George Washington and Tisbie Dinkins Washington, was born on October 11, 1936 in Sumter, SC.  He departed this life on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary, Inc.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 609 Manning Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150 with Minister Larry Milligan, Presiding and Pastor Ricky Simmons, Eulogist.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Sumter, SC 29150.
