Inez Gayle Croom, 96, widow of Henry Croom and daughter of the late Joe Gayle, Jr., and Elsie Brunson Gayle, was born on August 19, 1927 in Sumter, SC.  She departed this life on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Sumter East Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Wayman Chapel AME Church, 160 North Kings Hwy, Sumter, SC 29154 with Rev. Robert L. China, Jr., Officiating.

Interment will follow in Wayman Chapel AME Church Cemetery, Sumter, SC 29154.

Family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Addison, 4255 Cobblestone Road, Sumter, SC 29154 daily from 3-6pm.
