Mr. Harry Lewis was born October 29,1958 in Sumter, South Carolina. He was the son of late Mr. Henry (Cookie) Lewis and Mrs. Josephine Lincoln Lewis. Harry departed his earthly home Tuesday June 25, 2019 at his resident.

Mr. Lewis received his education in the public schools of Sumter County. He was employed by McLaughin Ford and retired early from the S.C.D.O.T. because of his health.

He was joined in holy matrimony to the late Emma Mack Lewis and this union was blessed with two children.

He leaves to cherish his memories a son Harry C. (Tierra) Lewis of Columbia S.C.; A daughter Krystle (Andre) Bradshaw of Sumter S.C.; seven sibling: Rosa Lee Smith, Alice Lewis, Dorothy Generette, Ann Lewis, and William Lewis of Sumter S.C. Maggie Lewis of Hopkin S.C. and Margie Lewis of N.Y.; Three nieces and one nephew that was reared in the home with him: Mary Lewis (Greg) Sanders of Maryland, Precious Lewis (Tony) Johnsonof Virginia, Nora Lewis (Robert) Linton of North Carolina and Anthony Williams of Rock Hill, South Carolina; Four sisters-in-law: Dorothy Marion, Charlie Mae (Gregory) Jones and Shirul (Bernard) Cook all of Sumter, S.C. and Lucille Summers of Brooklyn New York; Two brothers-in-law, Glenn Mack and James(Sarah) McElveen of Sumter S.C.; Ten grandchildren; One aunt, Eliza Time; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death a brother John Lewis; and a sister, Elizabeth Lewis.

Public Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary, Inc.

Mr. Lewis will be placed in the church on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 11am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 South Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150, Rev. Damain Prince Officiating and Elder Barrington Pierson, Eulogist.

Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery.
