Gwendolyn Jones McCants, 59, wife of Derrick McCants and daughter of Earline Montgomery Jones and the late Matthew Jones, Sr., was born on March 10, 1965 in Sumter, SC.  She departed this life on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee, Florence, SC.

Mrs. McCants will be placed in the church for viewing until the hour of services.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Friday, July 5, 2024 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150

Interment will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Florence, SC.

Family will receive friends at 917 Jensen Road, Sumter, SC 29154.
