Gladys James Montgomery, 89, wife of Stanley Montgomery, Sr. and daughter of the late Rev. Gibbs James and Maude Johnson James McKnight, was born on October 18, 1930 in Rimini, SC. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.

Family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, 395 North St. Pauls Church Road, Sumter, SC 29154, beginning on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 4-7 pm Daily. Visitation will be Drive-thru only. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the family request all guests to maintain social distancing and wear facial masks.
