Frank Bellamy,
Sr.
August 16, 1958 – July 11, 2019
Mr. Frank Bellamy, Sr. was born on August 16, 1958 to the late Katie Bennett Osorio and Charles Bellamy, Sr. He departed this earthly life on July 11, 2019.
Frank was educated in the public schools of New York, Baltimore, MD, and Sumter County. He was employed by John S. Hobart in New York, as a custodian for a period of over ten years. Frank then relocated to South Carolina, becoming a Correctional Officer for the South Carolina Department of Corrections for over seven years.
"Senior," as he was affectionately known, was well-known for being a die-hard fan of the Pittsburg Steelers, and also the New York Yankees. "Senior" enjoyed being a car mechanic; his favorite thing to do was to work on his white pickup truck. He dedicated his last days towards working on it.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 35 years, Deborah Bellamy; four children: Rhonda Ann Jones, Frank Bellamy, Jr., Domonique Ola Bellamy, and Justin Marquis Bellamy (Ashley P. McFadden); eight grandchildren: Leah, Frank III, Chrishawn, Ty'Reek, Ashanti, Da'Myah, Ivianna, and Justice; a second mom, Dorothy Myers; step-father, Jose Osorio; three brothers: Eisenhower (Doreen) Coleman, Charles (Sharon) Bellamy, Jr., and Fred Bellamy; an uncle, Bobby of Baltimore; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a host of relatives.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:30pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2019 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 South Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150.
Family will receive friends at the home, 43A Somerset Drive Sumter, SC 29150.
Job's Mortuary, Inc., 312 S. Main Street is in charge of arrangements.
