Frank Lee (Ray) Jackson , 68, son of the late James H. and Ethel Davis Jackson, Sr., was born on January 28, 1951 in Clarendon County, SC. He departed this life on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.

Frank affectionately known as "Ray Jackson" was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Manning Training Center, Class of 1969. He continued his education and became a certified Auto Mechanic. He taught Auto Mechanics at CCTC for 3+ years. He loved auto repairs with a passion.

Ray Jackson leaves to cherish his memories his companion, Stephanie Black; two daughters, Vianna (Jewel) Black of the home and Samantha (Cornelius) Benjamin of Charleston, SC; one son, Shane Black of Sumter, SC; four brothers: Ervin (Queen) Jackson, Samuel Jackson, David (Lyndia) Jackson, and Josiah (Karita) Jackson; a special sister-in-law, Barbara Jackson; seventeen grandchildren; a best friend, Joseph "Joe" Holmes; a god-son, John (Roc) Lewis, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by three sisters: Minnie Brisbone, Mary Ann Session, and Ruth Jackson; three brothers, Henry, Daniel, and Timothy Jackson; two nephews, ZeBrian and Windon Jackson; and one niece, Adrian Blanding

Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Jackson will be placed in the church on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 2pm for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 S. Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150, with Rev. Eugene Winn.

Family will receive friends at 1023 Manning Road Sumter, SC 29150.
