Obituary
Mrs. Eula Pierre of 1490 Mooneyham Road died Friday, September 29, 2017 at Palmetto Health Tuomey.
Born in Whitesville, NC, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel Hixson Chunn.
Mrs. Pierre, a registered nurse was employed with Cook County Hospital, Harvey, IL for forty-seven years and moved to Sumter after her health began to decline
.
She is survived by three sons: Marc Echols, Sumter, Gary Echols, Harvey, IL and Eric Frazier; two brothers, Herbert Cowan, Jacksonville, FL and William Chunn, Las Vegas, NV; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Her brothers, George Cowan and Henry Chunn preceded her in death.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at eleven o'clock in the parlor of Job's Mortuary with Pastor Ricky Simmons, officiating.
Family will receive friends at the home, 1490 Mooneyham Rd., Sumter, SC 29153.
