Mrs. Emma Lee Richardson, wife of Henry Richardson and daughter of Rosa Lee H. Wells and the late Leroy Wells, was born February 17, 1957. She was a devoted a mother, grandmother, loving daughter, sister, and aunt who was very loving and caring to all who knew her.

Emma Lee was always full of life, with beautiful smile. She loved God and loved to read her Bible. She decided to accept Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age when she was baptized.

Emma attended and graduated from Sumter High School in 1966. She was a licensed Cosmetologist. She then retired from Sumter Laundry & Cleaners .

She later met her husband of 44 years who was very devoted to her and from this union they had two children.

Emma leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Henry Richardson; a daughter, Latasha Q. R. Walker; a son, Henry L. (Felicia) Richardson; an adopted daughter, Latisha Smith; grandchildren: Daniel, Larissa, Olivia and Desciney Walker, Tarbons Richardson, Shigana, Camella, and Lewis Smith; two brothers, Leroy (Barbara) Wells, Jr. and Michael (Carol) Wells; three sisters: Diana (Lee) Singleton, Eva (Bill) Burwell, and Michelle (Ernest) Dicks.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Wells.

Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 1-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mrs. Richardson will be placed in the church on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 S. Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150, with Rev. Davie Brown Officiating.

Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home, 1063 Manning Road Sumter, SC 29150.
