Elizabeth Addison Dwyer was born on June 24, 1949 in St. Charles, South Carolina to the late James Addison and Marie Fortune Addison. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, William Dwyer. To this beautiful union, the couple was blessed with two hardworking young men, Kenneth Bernard Dwyer and Kevin William Dwyer of Columbia, South Carolina
Elizabeth was a 1967 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on February 15, 1976, where she was a devoted and faithful servant of Jehovah until her death on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, S. C.
Elizabeth was affectionately known to many as Libby. Libby was a beautiful, fun loving, and compassionate woman inside and out.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories; the apple of her eye, her husband William Dwyer; her two heartstrings, sons, Kenneth (Racheal G.) and Kevin (Shay Miller) both of Columbia, SC; one faithful sister, Earnestine (Joe) Parrott of Sumter, SC; three loving sisters-in-law: Carrie Dwyer, Rosa Lee Addison of Sumter, SC, and Thelma Addison of St. Charles, SC; a wonderful brother-in-law, Samuel Dwyer of Sumter, SC; two special aunts, Janie Bell Fortune of Philadelphia, PA and May Frances Addison of Bishopville, SC; one caring uncle, William Fortune of Jersey City, NJ; three adorable grandchildren, Kendra Dwyer of Sumter, SC and Taylor D. and Makenzie Dwyer of Columbia, SC; along with three marvelous great grands; a host of other loving relatives.
She was preceded in death by brothers; Samuel Addison, James Addison Jr., Freddy Anderson, Joseph Addison, and Robert Fortune; along with her parents, James and Marie Fortune Addison.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 1-6pm at Job's Mortuary.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 2280 Thomas Sumter Hwy, Sumter, SC.
Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park, Sumter, SC.
Family will receive friends at 24 Buttercup Street, Sumter, SC.
Job's Mortuary, Inc., 312 S. Main Street is in charge of arrangements.
