Dorothy James Taylor, 70, wife of Larry Taylor and daughter of the late English and Rebecca Williams James, was born on December 11, 1947 in Sumter County, SC. She  departed this life on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Opus Post Acute Rehab in W Columbia, SC.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

There will be a Memorial Service at 6:30pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. John Apostolic Church 869 Weeks Street Sumter, SC 29150.

Mrs. Taylor will be placed in the church on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 S. Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150, with Bishop Tommy Doe and Overseer John Hart Officiating.

Interment will follow in Mayesville Community Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home 401 Wildsmere Avenue Columbia, SC 29203.
