Dolly Mae McClary was born to the late Benjamin and Daisy Raimes Peterson on March 6, 1936 in Lynchburg, SC. On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, she made her transition home to her eternal resting place.

Dolly was united in holy matrimony to Marion Moise McClary, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters; Gwendolyn (Zoniti) Mack, Norfolk, VA, Brenda (Melvin) Foster, Norfolk, VA, and Dorothy Croskey of Augusta, GA; four sons, Marion (Ruth) McClary, Jr., Sumter, SC, Benjamin (Karen) McClary, Columbia, SC, Calvin (Margaret) McClary, Sumter, SC, and Willie (Michelle) McClary, Sumter, SC; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marion M. McClary, Sr. and her life companion, Willie Mozell Burgess.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 14 at 3pm at Salem Chapel and Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150 with Pastor Al McKenny, Officiating.

Family will be receiving friends at the home, 236 Red & White St., Sumter, SC 29150.
