David Abraham Duren, Sr., 85, husband of Mary Canty Duren and son of the late Carnes (Andrena) Duren, Sr. and Fannie Stukes Duren, was born on June 19, 1936 in Sumter, SC. He departed this life on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his residence.

Public viewing will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150, with Rev. Jose Lozano Officiating and Minister Fay L. Swinton, Eulogist.

Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home, 6825 Panola Road, Pinewood, SC 29125.
