Darryl Lorenza McElveen, Sr., 53, husband of Tina Wright McElveen and son of James, Jr. and Sarah McGhaney McElveen, was born on September 22, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York. He departed this life on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150, with Rev. Dr. George Hicks, Eulogist and Rev. Dr. Timothy Bowman Officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at the home, 538 McCrays Mill Road, Sumter, SC 29150.
