Chervonne Maria Porcher, 49, was born on July 20, 1969 in Washington, DC to Betty C. Arrington Porcher and the late Charles Porcher. She departed this life on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.

She attended Sumter High and was previously employed at Good will. Chervonne later relocated to Anderson, SC.

Chervonne was a sweet and kind-hearted person, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her life and memory are her mother, Betty Porcher of Dalzell, SC; two children, Calvin S. Porcher and Tiffany L. Porcher bother of Dalzell, SC; one sister, LaShawn R. (Harrial) Gallishaw of Dalzell, SC; five loving grandchildren; five aunts; three uncles; four great-aunts; two nieces; two nephews; a special friend, Julius McCants; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her father, Chervonne was preceded in death by a brother, James Porcher, Jr.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 2-pm at Job's Mortuary.

Ms. Porcher will be placed in the church on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1pm for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 South Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150, with Chaplain Bill Bennett, Officiating, and Dr. Napoleon Bradford, Eulogist.

Family will receive friends at the home of her sister, 1375 Genesis Road Dalzell, SC 29040.

Job's Mortuary, Inc., 312 S. Main Street is in charge of arrangements.
