Charles Tiller, 64, son of Lillie Mae Tiller and the late Dudley Tiller, was born on February 7, 1954 in Sumter, SC. He departed this life on January 13, 2019 at his residence surrounded by love ones.

Charles was a member of Pine Hill AME Church. He was educated in Sumter, SC at St. Jude Catholic Church. After graduating, he later earned a degree from North Central Kansas Technical College. Charles loved playing tennis, golf, and spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Lille Mae Tiller of Sumter, SC; two daughters, Kenyatta Williams of Dalzell, SC and Kwanza (William) Hall of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Tiller  and Dorothy Jones both of Sumter, SC; two brothers, Dudley (Betty) Tiller and Edward Tiller both of Sumter, SC; a special friend, Glenda Covington of Manning, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and dear friends.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Tiller will be placed in the church on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Pine Hill AME Church 1505 US-521 Sumter, SC 29153, with Rev. Donna H. Jackson, Pastor, Officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at the home, 105 Tiller Circle Sumter, SC 29150.
