Catherine McMillian, widow of Ernest McMillian was born on September 23, 1955 in Lee County to the late Toby Favor and Albertha Mack Favor. She departed this life on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
She was a faithful member of St. John Holiness Church. Catherine served on the Gospel Choir and on the Usher Board.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory; two sons, Michael and Boris (Satoshi) Favor; one daughter, Melissa Favor all of Sumter, SC; six grandchildren, three brothers, Archie (Betty) Mack of Aynor, SC, Toby (Nicole) Favor of Sumter, SC and Willie Anderson of Sumter, SC; three sisters, Mary (Albert) Buckingham of Patterson, NJ, Geneva (Jimmy) Jones and Dorothy Wells of Dallas, TX; grandmother, Louise Mack; special sister, Rev. Brenda Milford McRae, special friend, Nancy Flowers, care giver, Charlene Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives friends and godkids.
She was preceded in death by James Lee and Loucinda Wells.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.
Ms. McMillian will be placed in the church on Sat. at 10am until the hour of service.
Funeral Service will be held on Sat.Dec. 9, 2017 at 11am at St. John Holiness Church 869 Weeks Street, Sumter.
Interment will follow in Mayesville Community Cemetery, Mayesville, SC.
Family will be receiving friends at the home 993 Huddersfield Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.
