Carrie Mae Billie Moore, daughter of Alfonso Billie and the late Carrie Lee Jackson Billie. She was born on October 28, 1963 in Clarendon County. Carrie departed this life on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 6:15am peacefully at her home.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Theodore Moore on August 3, 1985 and to this union two daughters were born.
Mrs. Moore was brought up in a fine Christian home. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. To know her was to love her. One of her favorite scriptures was Psalm 23 "The Lord is my Shepard I shall not want."
She was a faithful member of Antioch Union Methodist Episcopal Church where she sang on the Adult Choir, served on the usher board, taught Sunday School Class for the children, and worked and served wherever she was needed.
Carrie leaves to cherish her memory; a loving and supportive husband, Theodore Moore; two daughters, Kelsha (Cedric) McKnight and Brittany Nicole Moore both of Columbia, SC; her father, Alfonso Billie of Pinewood, SC; four brothers, Moses Billie of Greenville, SC, Alfonso (Rubymae) Billie Jr., Henry Lee (Brenda) Billie both of Thomasville, NC and Isaac (Karen) Billie of Albertshofen Germany; five sisters, Emma (Edward) Tate of Thomasville, NC, Susie Billie of High Point, NC, Juanita (Willie) Green, Mildred Billie both of Sumter, SC and Ruth Carr of Columbia, SC; seven brothers-in-law, James Moore of Miami, FL, Richard McConico, Calvin (Mary) McConico, Isaiah (Charlene) Moore all of Sumter, SC, Wilbur (Ophelia) McConico of Pinewood, SC, Johnny (Karen) Moore of Austin, TX and Lincoln Moore of Sterling Heights, MI; four sisters-in-law, Rosa (Alfred) Conyers, Luvivian Moore both of Pinewood, SC, Myrtis (Richard) Hopkins of Knoxville, TN and Dorothy (Reginald) Byrden of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren, Deante Moore and Caden McKnight; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother, Ernest Billie; mother and father-in-law, Corine and Isiah Moore.
Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday April 18, 2017 from 2-7pm at Job's Mortuary.
Mrs. Moore will be placed in the church on Wednesday at 12noon for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 1pm at Antioch Union Methodist Episcopal Church 10026 Old River Road, Rimini, SC with Pastor Rev. Barry Gadsden, Eulogist and Bishop Willie Green Jr., Presiding.
Interment will follow in Antioch UME Memorial Gardens, Rimini, SC
