Blanche Manning Gipson, 92, widow of Clifton Gipson and daughter of the late Pearl Manning Brown, was born on November 13, 1927 in Sumter, SC. She departed this life on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Sumter Health & Rehab Center in Sumter, SC.

Loving memories will be honored and cherished by her three sisters: Mrs. Susie M. Ramsey, NHC Healthcare of Sumter, SC; Mrs. Bernice M. Budden of Brooklyn, NY, and Mrs. Ethel M. Vaughn, Harbison Hall Assisted Living Facility of Columbia, SC; as well as by a host of nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mrs. Gipson will be placed in the church on Saturday, February 28, 2020 at 12noon for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 28, 2020 at Allen Chapel AME Church 471 Lynam Road Sumter, SC, with Rev. Dr. George E. Hicks, Pastor, Rev. Vincent Johnson, Officiating, and Rev. Kenneth Charles, Eulogist.

Interment will follow in Allen Chapel Church Cemetery.
