Beverly Jean Compton James, 70, widow of William James and daughter of the late Monson and Ella Leighton LaBoo, was born on October 26, 1950 in Baltimore, MD. She departed this life on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at First Baptist Missionary Church, 219 South Washington Street, Sumter, SC 29150, with Pastor George P. Windley, Jr. Officiating.

Interment will be held in Arbutus Memorial Park in Baltimore, MD.
