Mrs. Berthenia Richardson Willis, the daughter of the late Willie and Rosa Richardson was born on July 25, 1924. She departed this life on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Tallulah, Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories three foster children; LaKenya D. Shelly, Johnny D. Shelly, and Christopher D. Shirley; two special nieces, Deborah C. Calhoun and Shauna Berthenia (Robert) Spann; two special nephews, Edward Coleman and Robert Blanding; one sister-in-law; Edna Mae Richardson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, SSGT John T. Willis, her parents, Willie and Rosa Richardson; five brothers, Cornell Richardson, Sr., Willie Richardson, Curtis Richardson, Leon Richardson, and Roosevelt Richardson, and two sisters, Freddie Mae Richardson Coleman and Alphonzo Richardson Lee.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11am at Hillside Memorial Park with Rev. Alexander Baker, Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Officiating.
