Bernadette Williams Simmons, aged 55, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 18, 2024. Born on June 26, 1969, in Bronx, New York, she was the beloved wife of Rondell Antoine Simmons. Bernadette was the cherished daughter of the late John Ely, Sr., and Henritta Williams.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, November 25, 2025 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary, Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at St. Paul AME Church-Shaw, located at 1495 N. St. Pauls Church Road, Sumter, SC 29154, with Rev. Eric Dent officiating. Following the service, interment will take place at Aycock Cemetery in Sumter, SC 29150.

The family will receive friends at the home of her mother-in-law, located at 5640 Alcott Drive, Wedgefield, SC 29168.
