Barbara W. Ragin, 73, wife of Louis Ragin, passed away peacefully at the home on Monday, September 10, 2018. She was born on February 20, 1945 in New York City to the late Leon and Alfreda Wright.

Barbara was a kind sweet spirit, whose smile would light any room she entered.

Barbara spent her professional years working in the school district and was able to retire at an early age.

Barbara loved her family and shared many of her beautiful Ceramic pieces with them- as she loved creating her beautiful and classic designs.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving and devoted husband, Louis Ragin; two sons, Anthony (Rose) Ragin of Ladson, SC and Michael Ragin of Fort Mill, SC; one daughter, who was the apple of her eye, Tenika Ragin of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Leon Wright of Brooklyn, NY; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of other relatives that will cherish and surely miss her.

Mrs. Ragin will be placed in the church on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 12noon for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 S. Salem Avenue Sumter, SC.

Family will receive friends at the home, 1030 S. Main Street Sumter, SC.
