Ms. Anna Toney, affectionately known as "Squeek," was born in Lee County on March 9, 1957 to the late Mr. Felix Davis III and Mrs. Clara Toney Davis. She was an only child of her parents. She was reared in the home of her grandmother, the late Mrs. Daisy Mae Toney.

Anna attended the public schools of Lee County and Sumter Technical College. She attended St. James United Methodist Church, until her health declined. She loved reading her bible, writing songs, singing, and going to Sunday School.

Anna leaves to cherish her memories a loving and faithful 1st cousin, Mrs. Rebecca Ann Butler, whom was always there when she needed her; another cousin, Mrs. Ruthie Toney Davis of New York City, NY; her neighbors, Mr. John and Mrs. Bertha Willis, and Mrs. Carol Kirkland, who supported her in many way to make her life comfortable and prayed with and for her constantly; and a host of other close relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and grandmother, she was preceded in death by three loving aunts: Mrs. Edith Mae McGee, Mollie (Tiny Mae) Carter, and Rebecca McCants.
